Things that made me happy #1

the past week has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. though it literally sucked the life out of me, i am still grateful for all the opportunities and learnings i have been blessed with. so to commemorate what has been the best (and worst) week of my life yet, here’s a list of the things that made me happy!

the artists of Museo Walo

never have i been more privileged in my whole life than right now. to see masterpieces of and work with the Philippines’ eight most remarkable artists is insane. and very surreal. i am especially psyched about Michael Cacnio, Ugu Bigyan, Kenneth Cobonpue and well, Bencab. you have no idea how fast my heart is pumping every time i walk into that museum. i still get goosebumps each time i try to convince myself that i am really just a few inches away from their works.

June 2011 issue of Bluprint Magazine

i haven’t actually read it yet, but with the photos alone, i sure am in for one art/design-gasm

an instant favorite! shoe sculptures by Ferdie Cacnio. (how is he related to Michael Cacnio?)

breath-taking details.

this.

i’m a sucker for anything French so this gets a picture, too.

this issue has a lot of photos of churches, which i really fell in love with.

and then, there is this hotel! everyone seriously, buy this issue!

National Bookstore’s new packaging

i was so thrilled when i saw the cashier put the Bluprint mag into this brown paper bag! :)

i worked on a big project, too, the details of which i choose not to disclose for the time being. heehee. i also got a much deserved mani-pedi & body massage earlier after a week’s worth of long travels & stress & haggardness & getting-to-know-you’s. i’m hoping to finish another friend’s portrait tomorrow.

hope you guys had a great week like i did!
